Wow, it looks like it was left in a panic.

I don't think so, but they're going to tear it down soon.

Thats a shame. New schools are hideous, and probably won't even last half as long

Yea but this was so obsolete. it had no AC and was much too small for the growing population size of the area. It's just the end of an era for schools like this

Honestly practically any building can be upgraded without too much trouble. There's just nobody willing to put the effort and everyone these days has that mentality of NEW NEW NEW! I went to a school from 1912 that had been fitted with AC, New windows, new ceilings. I never even saw a crack in the masonry. It was clean, well kept. It looked new! Then went to a school from 1960 that, from the inside, looked like it was about ready to fall down. Leaks everywhere. It was dirty. The water coming out of the sinks came out various colors if that hadn't been used awhile, and it always smelled funny. Yet they remodelled that. It was an ugly building too. Just a big gray box. It was supposed to be an arts school too, and the way they remodelled it it looked like a technical school.

Sorry I'm a bit passionate about stuff like this. But I dunno. For all I know I'm the only person under 70 who cares about this type of stuff.

Especially since that was my 6th grade hallway more than a decade ago.
